NorCal Matchday #6

For most leagues in NorCal Premier Soccer, regardless of the level, spring seasons are nearing the halfway point, with clear title favorites emerging in each division. It’s now crunch time for all of the teams involved as earning three points from each game is more important than ever. This week, NorCal Matchday heads back to the State Premier Leagues, where several teams are vying for promotion for the fall season.

Here are your NorCal Premier Soccer games of the week:

U14 Boys State Premier Championship - East
4/12	Napa Soccer Academy		11:00 a.m. @ Napa High School		Loomis Youth Soccer Club
In a matchup between first and third place in the U14 Boys State Premier Championship - East, Loomis Youth Soccer Club travel to Napa in which the winner will be guaranteed to be at least tied for first place at the end of the weekend. While Napa Soccer Academy current sit in third place, they're one of just three teams that have yet to lose in the division, while Loomis have one more point than Napa but have lost one game so far.

U14 Girls State Premier Championship
4/13	Santa Rosa Empire SC		3:30 p.m. @ Maria Carillo High School		Sonoma County Premier
Just three points separate the top three sides in the U14 Girls State Premier Championship, and all three of those teams come from the Santa Rosa area, giving this division's title race a local feel. Currently in first place are Atletico Santa Rosa, who have 11 points from six games, while Santa Rosa Empire SC have nine points, and Sonoma County Premier have eight. However, Both Empire and Sonoma County have two games in hand on Atletico and meet this weekend with a chance to take control of the league.
