NorCal Matchday #3
It’s the middle of March and most leagues are back in full action, with several teams having already played a match or two to start the spring season. But for some teams, it’s their first match of what should be a frenetic three months of play as those involved will be fighting to both earn promotion and stave off relegation all across the State.

| It's early in the U14 Boys State Premier Championship - East as some sides have yet to play a match, but Ceres Rush have started their season off in style, securing a 4-2 win on opening day to earn all three points. This Saturday they'll be on the road for the first time in the young season, facing an MVLA East team that will be playing their first game. | |||||

| Both Lincoln FC and Almaden FC got off to excellent starts to their campaigns last weekend when each put five goals in the back of the net on opening weekend. Almaden were also able to secure a shutout in their victory, while Lincoln FC only allowed one goal. Both sides currently sit just one point off of the top of the table, but each have one game in hand. | |||||
