As many teams prepare for both their Thanksgiving and high school breaks, this weekend marks one of the last full matchdays NorCal Premier Soccer has on its calendar for the fall season. While some of the younger teams will remain active into December, for the most part, league and title races will be decided this Saturday and Sunday. This week, NorCal Matchday heads to the Fall Girls College Showcase, where hundreds of games will be played, including several in the newly established League Cup.

| Both Stanislaus United and Reno APEX have absolutely dominated their League Cup divisions thus far, with neither having allowed a goal through two matches played each. While both defenses have proved impeccable, Reno's attack has been somewhat stronger in the two matches as they've scored nine goals to Stanislaus' five, meaning that if the two teams draw, Reno will win the group. |

| In search of claiming the first ever U19 Girls League Cup title, Los Gatos United and Folsom Lake Surf have gotten off to incredible starts. Through two games each, they've both picked up six points. United currently sit atop the standings, though, with their 11 goals scored. However, Surf have yet to concede in the competition and could prove a strong adversary. |

| Livermore Fusion and Alameda SC enter the showcase this weekend fighting to win Bracket F, and each have strong cases to do so thanks to solid starts in the competition. Both teams have picked up four points from two games, however, Livermore enjoy a slightly stronger goal differential, meaning that should they play to a draw, Livermore will likely win the group. That being said, third-place Solano Surf, who are on two points, could sneak in with a big win. |

| Our marquee showcase match of the weekend features the ECNL's Bay Area Surf taking on Stanislaus United, who currently play in the ECNL RL. Bay Area Surf have enjoyed a strong start to their league season and currently sit in fifth place of the tough Northern Cal division. Meanwhile, Stanislaus are unbeaten in seven matches in the RL's NorCal division and currently sit just five points out of first place with a game in hand. |
