NorCal Hires Brian Voltattorni as New State Cup Coordinator

As NorCal Premier Soccer continues to grow as an organization in size and scope, new positions are needed to fit the larger demand of its membership.

The latest new position to be created is the State Cup Coordinator, for which Brian Voltattorni will fill the role effective immediately.

The new State Cup Coordinator will have oversight over the largest State Cup in the country, which serves as the premier knockout competition for over 3,000 teams in Northern California. Taking over for Jason Drury, NorCal’s longest serving competition coordinator, Brian will be responsible for continuing the amazing work that has been done with the State Cup, while helping it continue to evolve and grow in the ever changing youth soccer landscape.

“Brian brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in youth soccer to NorCal, but more importantly he brings his incredible passion, integrity and personality,” said NorCal Director of Competitions Dan Chamberlain. “He is an amazing soccer professional, but an even better person. Under his leadership we are confident that the NorCal State Cup will continue to grow not only in terms of numbers of teams, but also in terms of the quality of experience that each team receives.”

A former player for Saint Mary’s College, Voltattorni comes to the role with a vast amount of experience that includes serving as the Director of Coaching for Diablo FC, the Director of Competitions & Youth Programming for COPA Soccer Training Center, and coaching a variety of different high-level teams at different clubs in Northern California.

“I am truly honored to be a part of NorCal Premier Soccer, and I cannot express my gratitude enough for this incredible opportunity,” Voltattorni said. “Through this role and together with NorCal Premier, I hope to continue fostering growth and development as we strive to provide the ultimate playing experience for clubs, players, and families in Northern California.”

Additionally, Voltattorni has been a PDP Coach, a PAD Committee Member, and an RAC Member with NorCal Premier Soccer.

“I would like to thank former NorCal Director of Competitions Jason Drury for his exceptional dedication and years of service to the NorCal State Cup,” Voltattorni said. “As a club DOC, I have had the privilege of working closely with Jason and witnessing firsthand his remarkable leadership in shaping the State Cup into the outstanding program it has become today.”
