Boys Fall NorCal College Showcase Preview
It’s that time of year again as a decent portion of the Northern California youth soccer community is set to gather in a central location for a weekend full of high quality soccer at the Boys Fall NorCal College Showcase this weekend at Davis Legacy Soccer Complex.
While several elements of this year’s event will seem familiar to many of the attendees, there are some new additions that NorCal expects to improve a well-liked event even further.
Teams from the U16-U19 age groups will again play one game each day in front of nearly 100 college coaches, but the showcase will no longer just feature teams from NorCal’s National Premier League.
Joining the NPL squads are boys teams from the ECNL and MLS Next leagues, while the first-ever Showcase All-Star Games will kick off Saturday night.
Furthermore, each age group will feature four teams in the hunt to be crowned NorCal’s Fall NPL champions as the Cross Regional Playoffs will begin in the semifinal round Saturday, with the finals being played Sunday.
