After a successful full return to play for the 2021/22 season, NorCal Premier Soccer is fully back in the thick of things with league and State Cup action beginning in the late summer.

NorCal NPL
The NorCal NPL returns for its 11th season of the top statewide division for youth soccer in Northern California. This year’s edition promises to be better than ever as more competition, continued national partnerships, additional showcasing opportunities, and a few format changes are in the cards for the betterment of the game locally.
In addition to the NorCal NPL in the U14-U19 age groups the Pre-NPL is also back for top performing U12-U13 teams. Only teams meeting the on-field and off-field standards will be eligible to participate.
U11-U19 NorCal Premier Fall League
The U11-U19 Fall League consists of teams participating in seasonal and local divisions at the Premier, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Copper levels. The Fall League also includes the U14-U19 State Premier division, which is a year round competition with teams working to qualify for the spring State Premier Championship division, who’s winner qualifies directly for the NPL in 2023-24.
U8-U10 NorCal Premier Regional Leagues
The Regional Leagues consist of region based Gold, Silver, Bronze and Copper divisions in the U8-U10 age groups. Groups are based on location to provide quality competition with limited travel at these youngest age groups.
U9-U19 NorCal State Cup
The 2022-23 addition of the State Cup will see over 3,000 teams from 200 clubs and close to 50,000 players participate. The State Cup events consist of multiple levels of play in all age groups from the top State Cup division down to Bronze Cup. Champions earn spots at the California Cup or in some age groups directly to the US Club National Cup Finals.
NorCal Play Dates
The aim of the NorCal Premier Play Dates is to provide a cost effective way to bring U8-U12 teams together for one day, at different sites around Northern California, to enjoy a full day of soccer, by creating an exciting atmosphere for the young players. Our Play Dates are focused on players playing 7v7 and 9v9 formats. Teams will play 3 games of 30-40 minutes.
Super Rec League and Cup
NorCal Premier Soccer is excited to expand our recreational soccer programming for the 2022-23 season. NorCal has long believed all levels of soccer must be healthy and vibrant for the entire soccer pyramid to thrive. The NorCal Super Rec League consists of U14, U16 and U19 recreational divisions that balance competition with limiting travel.
U14-U19 NorCal Super Rec League Information
In addition to the Super Rec League, NorCal also hosts an open recreational tournament, the NorCal Super Rec Cup. The event is open to all recreational teams with NorCal Premier Soccer clubs. The Super Rec Cup consists of U10, U12, U14, U16, and U19 divisions. Teams are not required to participate in the Super Rec League to play in the Super Rec Cup.
