In a division in which any of four teams could have won the title, it was Lamorinda Soccer Club that came up big to win it all, posting a 4-1 win over Santa Clara Sporting Saturday and a 1-0 victory over Placer United Sunday to capture the championship. That 1-0 victory ended up being much needed as Lamorinda finished level on points with Placer, who will also garner a berth to the ENPL thanks to their stellar play over the season.

While there’s still one match to be played in the U16 boys NPL 1, the title has already been decided as San Juan picked up a pair of 3-0 wins to finish with a 6-0-1 record in the division. California Odyssey came close, but their 6-1-0 record saw them finish a point out of the top spot.

Palo Alto Blue
Needing just two points to clinch the NPL 2 title, Palo Alto SC posted two victories over the weekend to finish at least five points clear of second-place Ballistic United, who were the only team to knock off Palo Alto all season.

PAC San Jose, Davis Legacy and FC Elk Grove
With matches in June still to be played, this division has actually been decided as Pac San Jose finished first based off of tiebreakers. A top-three finish was needed to clinch an NPL spot in the fall, and Davis Legacy and FC Elk Grove proved to be those sides, finishing second and third, respectively.
