Description PDP Coach
-Promote and follow PDP philosophy and PDP rules
-Continue to educate and develop oneself using coaching courses (NorCal Premier, NSCAA, USSF etc.)
-Master the “ Fiorentina Method” and apply it to every PDP training
-Work with coaching staff
-Maintain positive and pro active contact with PDP director
-Adhere to the “NO RECRUITING RULE” – this is vital !! 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
-Run 1-2 monthly sessions (2 hr. boys & 2 hr. girls) as outlined in PDP schedule (between 6-8 months a year).
-Pre-plan trainings on forms with clear objective and keep a binder
-Adhere to “Fiorentina Method” incorporating proper progression in each training session (4 sections) 1) warm up. 2) psycho-motor & coord. abilities. 3) technical. 4) tactical (individual-team).if needed use NorCal library for help.
-Attend PDP evaluation events at State level when possible 
-Attend at least four PDP staff coaches meeting or conference calls per year
-Assist in scouting and identifying players for PDP selection

Coaches receive
-Fee of $ 100 per session plus food & gas
-Educational opportunities free of charge. Possible visit to professional clubs abroad.
-Ability to work with top players
-Ability to work with other coaches and exchange ideas (continuing education)
-Ability to work in a program as it grows and develops (more age groups, different events)
-Proper and full equipment for training (ring, cones, balls etc.)
-Coaching merchandise (NorCal sponsor) such as warm-up, short, polo, jacket
