North Bay Fires – Check HERE for Updates

Air Now

Scheduled Matches

[Updated October 13]
Due to the poor air quality in the Bay Area, and more importantly the wide-ranging effect the fires are having on children and families in our soccer community, NorCal Premier Soccer has made the decision to cancel all games scheduled to be played in the Region 1, 2, 3/4, and 5 (Bay Area locations) for this weekend, October 14 and 15.

As of now, games in the Region 6, 7 and 8 areas may continue as scheduled as air quality forecasts are looking healthy in those valley locations over the weekend. Clubs from these Valley areas should continue to monitor the situation and should not play games if the air quality moves into the unhealthy range.

CLUB LIST (with Regions)

[Updated October 11]
Any matches scheduled this weekend in Sonoma and Napa Counties should be rescheduled for another weekend. This may extend to clubs in the outlying areas affected by smoke. There could also be air quality issues in surrounding counties depending on the direction of the winds.

If you are hosting a team from one of these affected counties please reach out to the clubs ASAP. However, please be aware managers may not have cell service or computer service and may possibly be out of contact. If you are unable to reach a coach or manager please reach out to the club leadership as well. Please be as flexible as possible.

Training
This is left to the club’s discretion – utilize the resources above and your local county’s recommendations.

Rescheduling Games
Event Coordinators will be communicating early next week with information about timelines, etc.

Fundraising – DONATE NOW
