NorCal NPL Match Day #16 Preview

After a weekend that saw most teams off due to Easter Sunday, NPL action is back this weekend -- the last weekend before NorCal Premier Soccer's College Showcase at Davis Legacy Soccer Complex. While title races will be decided next weekend, the action this weekend isn't any less important with sides looking to claim all three points in every match possible in order to remain in contention.
U17 GIRLS NPL 1
4/22Clovis Crossfire
12:00 PM
Cal Odyssey
California Odyssey's game against Clovis Crossfire this weekend may be a battle between second and third place teams, but it's one that could decide the title for the U17 Girls NPL 1, with both sides entering the match with a perfect 2-0-0 record. Should there be a winner in this Central California derby, the victor would move level with first place Force ECNL, who have played two more matches.
U15 BOYS CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
4/23Cal Odyssey
1:00 PM
Lamorinda
First-place Lamorinda SC (4-0-0) will look to continue their stranglehold on the U15 Boys Champions League this weekend, but face a stiff test in California Odyssey (2-1-0), who enter the game with a loss, but have allowed just one goal on the season. Something is bound to give though, as Lamorinda's potent attack has found the back of the net 15 times already.
U19 GIRLS CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
4/23PSV Union
4:00 PM
Davis Legacy 98
Unbeaten Davis Legacy 98 (3-0-0) enter their fourth Champions League match of the season in an excellent position: just three points behind leaders De Anza Force (4-1-0), but with two games in hand. Standing in their way this weekend is PSV Union (2-2-0), who are currently sitting in the middle of the table, but are dangerous in the attack, with 14 goals scored already this season.
