Games of the Week – April 29

Looking for high-quality local soccer to watch LIVE, but don’t know where to start? NorCal Premier Soccer has you covered with our games of the week.

As it’s our belief that soccer should be supported at every level, NorCal will look to highlight the top professional, college, and amateur games in the region.

“He knows it is ‘player number twelve’ who stirs up the winds of fervor that propel the ball when she falls asleep, just as the other eleven players know that playing without their fans is like dancing without music.” – Eduardo Galeano

If your club isn’t listed below and you would like it to be, or you’re aware of a game you think should be featured, please email eream@norcalpremier.com.

But without further ado, here are this week’s listings:

Professional Game of the Week: San Francisco Deltas vs. New York Cosmos

When: Saturday April 29, 7:00 p.m.

Where: Kezar Stadium, San Francisco

Competition: NASL

Additional Info: In somewhat of a slower weekend for live soccer in Northern California, one match stands out as a can’t-miss as the San Francisco Deltas welcome the historic New York Cosmos to Kezar Stadium. Winners of three of the last four Soccer Bowls, the Cosmos (1-1-2) visit a Deltas side that have gone unbeaten in the first four games in club history and are just two points off the top of the NASL table. “We’re playing the champions of last year, the team that has been the most successful team in the NASL in the last four years, a team that has a lot of history, being the New York Cosmos,” Deltas head coach Marc Dos Santos told NorCal Premier Soccer. “It’s a game that can give us the chance to come very close, if not first place in the NASL after five games. It’s the Deltas against the Cosmos and it should be a very exciting one.” Tickets are available here.
