Younger State Cup Action Continues This Weekend.

As the younger version of the State Cup culminates, there are many players and teams to recognize in what has been a season of a celebration of soccer.

While champions have already been decided for the U9 and U10 divisions, the U11-U13 Gold, Silver, and Bronze brackets will be decided this weekend at Mary Grogan Park in Modesto.

“It’s been an incredible year of soccer in the younger age groups,” said NorCal Premier Soccer Director of Competitions Jason Drury. “It’s always amazing to see the enjoyment and excitement from the younger kids in our State Cup event.”

With 500 teams playing over 2,500 matches in just the U9-U10 age groups, champions were finally decided in Force for the U9 boys, California Thorns for the U9 girls, Force for the U10 boys and Mustang for the U10 girls.

Meanwhile, NorCal was on hand throughout the State Cup to provide the public with highlights from the excitement that each game provided — view the top-10 goals from the U9 – U10 division here.

Though many of the divisions will conclude this weekend, the U11-U13 State, Premier, and Platinum brackets are just getting started, with second round action beginning on December 10 and culminating on February 24 and 25 at Mary Grogan in Modesto.
